So its been a while, but it always is. This is good because it means we're all keeping busy making great beer for great people. So whats been happening going on at Brentwood Brewing company?
The last 6 months have been great for us. Pacific pale ale was at the Mitchells and Butler IPA festival and from the feed back we recieved it went down well. It will be back in the summer but with more attitude, so look out for it.
We have continued to push our 2.5% beer, BBC2 and we are getting some great reviews. I still enjoy getting people to guess the ABV at festivals and then watching their jaw drop when the 4.5% beer they thought they were drinking is only 2.5%. We popped along to the Houses of Parliment on the 17th of January for an event hosted by the All Party Paliamentry Beer group showcasing low strength beers from some of the UK's best breweries. Again the beer was well recieved and we will continue to brew BBC2, showing that beer is about great flavour and not strength.
We have some new beers lined up for 2012, the first to be launched will be Boston Brown, a brown ale at 4.4%. The beer will have sweet, malty undertones with a hoppy finish from some great American hops. This will be out in mid February so look out for it.
We continue to extend our bottle range, adding Winter warmer, Chestnut stout and IPA, with more to come later in the year. We also have a special limited edition, 7.4% bottle conditioned beer that we will be releasing later in the year, the bottles are currently filled and ageing at the brewery.
Lastly, you can now order our beers online for delivery nationwide. So you can enjoy our beer in the comfort of your own home for any occasion. See the brewery website for details.
